What Is Travel Vaccinations & Consultation?

Recommendations vary depending on where you’re going, how long you’ll be there, and your own health history, so it pays to book well before departure. Some travel vaccines need a few weeks to become fully effective, and certain vaccines may require more than one dose spaced apart, so last-minute bookings can limit your options. Booking early also gives more flexibility if a particular vaccine needs to be specially ordered in.

This website is not for medical emergencies

If this is a medical emergency, call 911. For non-urgent health advice any time, call HealthLink BC at 811.

The easiest way is to click “Book An Appointment” right here on the website. You can also call us directly at either location. And if you just need to be seen today, walk right in — no appointment needed for walk-in services at our Mission or Mission clinics.

We accept BC MSP, ICBC, WCB, and most extended health plans. For pharmacy, we work with BC PharmaCare and most private drug plans. Just bring your Care Card and any supplemental insurance info when you visit, and we’ll sort out the rest.

Yes, and it’s easier than you might think. In BC, pharmacists can renew most prescriptions for up to two years without a doctor’s visit. Just call or drop by either pharmacy location with your prescription details — no appointment, no hassle.

Show up about 10-15 minutes early with your BC Care Card, photo ID, and a list of any medications you take. You can download the intake form from our site to save time. After that, you’ll sit down with your doctor for a proper assessment — your health history, what’s going on now, and a plan that makes sense for you.

It starts with listening. Our doctors look at the whole picture — your history, your lifestyle, what matters to you. From there, we build a treatment plan using evidence-based medicine and modern diagnostics. And it’s not a one-and-done thing. We follow up regularly and adjust as your health changes.

Yes. We offer virtual consultations for eligible patients. If your doctor prescribes something during the call, we can arrange delivery to your home through our pharmacy.
