Vaccines Available at Purple Pharmacy

  • Recommended for individuals 6 months of age and older.
  • Recommended in Pregnancy.
  • Protects against circulating seasonal influenza strains and helps reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and influenza-related complications.

You can book online through Cortico or MyHealthAccess — both are linked from our Book Appointment page. Walk-ins are also accepted at the clinic.

Start by filling out our online intake form before your first visit. Once that’s done, you can book through Cortico or MyHealthAccess, or call the clinic directly to get set up.

For prescriptions or pharmacy questions, call the pharmacy directly — it’s the fastest way to reach the right person.

Our clinic and pharmacy are both at Unit 2, 32618 Logan Ave, Mission, BC V2V 6C7.

  • Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday 7am–5pm, Saturday–Sunday 8am–12pm.

Influenza Vaccine
  • Recommended for individuals 6 months of age and older.
  • Recommended in Pregnancy.
  • Protects against circulating seasonal influenza strains and helps reduce the risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and influenza-related complications.
  • Recommended for individuals 6 months and older.
  • Prevents severe illness and transmission.
  • Protects against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), a common respiratory virus that can cause serious lung infections such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia, particularly in older adults and high-risk individuals.
  • Recommended for many adults aged 60 years and older, as well as certain high-risk individuals based on age and medical conditions.
  • Helps protect against serious infections caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, including pneumonia, meningitis, bloodstream infections (bacteremia), and ear infections.
  • Recommended for adults 65 years and older, young children, and individuals with certain chronic medical conditions or immunocompromising conditions.
  • Particularly important for patients with asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, or weakened immune systems.
  • Protects against Neisseria meningitidis, a bacterium that can cause severe and rapidly progressing infections such as meningitis and septicemia.
  • Recommended for children, adolescents, and certain high-risk adults depending on vaccine type and risk factors.
  • Travel and destination-based requirement: Meningococcal vaccination is required or strongly recommended for certain international travel, particularly for pilgrimages such as Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia, where proof of vaccination may be mandatory for entry.
  • Protects against infection with the Hepatitis B virus which can cause both acute and chronic liver disease, including cirrhosis and liver cancer.
  • Routinely given in infancy as part of the standard childhood immunization schedule, with doses starting at birth in many jurisdictions.
  • Recommended for unvaccinated adolescents and adults who are at increased risk (e.g., healthcare workers, people with diabetes, individuals with multiple sexual partners, or those with exposure risk to blood/body fluids).
  • Protects against reactivation of the varicella-zoster virus, which causes shingles — a painful rash that can lead to complications such as persistent nerve pain, vision loss, and neurological complications.
  • Recommended for adults 50 years and older, regardless of prior history of shingles or chickenpox infection.
  • Also recommended for adults 18 years and older who are immunocompromised, depending on individual risk assessment and product availability.
  • Protects against Haemophilus influenzae type b, a bacterium that can cause serious invasive infections such as meningitis, epiglottitis, pneumonia, septic arthritis, and bloodstream infections.
  • Routinely administered in infancy as part of the standard childhood immunization schedule, usually in a multi-dose series.
  • Recommended for individuals over 50 to prevent painful shingles outbreaks.
  • Protects against infection with human papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted virus that can cause cervical, anal, penile, oropharyngeal (throat), vulvar, and vaginal cancers, as well as genital warts.
  • Routinely recommended for preteens to provide protection before potential exposure.
